Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute all menu offerings, including seasonal and special items, adhering to established ticket standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and dining areas by following designated cleaning protocols and assisting with dishwashing and equipment maintenance.
  • Support the Kitchen Manager in managing food inventory levels and utilize prep sheets to ensure accurate preparation amounts.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure food standards are met.
  • Utilize appropriate tools, equipment, and ingredients for each dish.
  • Adhere to all opening, mid, and closing procedures as outlined by checklists and the Kitchen Manager.
  • Complete cleaning and food safety checklists to guarantee proper food handling practices.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 months of relevant experience in a restaurant setting or equivalent training.
  • Prior experience with knife skills is advantageous.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to be cross-trained in various kitchen roles is desirable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the workplace.
