About the Role

As a seasoned professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of building envelope projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects with a strong focus on building envelope and repair solutions, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to the growth of a collaborative team.

You will collaborate with both in-house teams and clients to provide expertise on building envelope design, assessment, and repair, contributing to the long-term durability and performance of buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the lead architect for projects, reviewing and approving architectural drawings for the Seattle office with a focus on building envelope systems.
  • Provide in-depth reviews of architectural drawings, with particular attention to detailing building envelope systems, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Mentor junior staff to develop their skills in building envelope design, assessment, and repair while maintaining a collaborative, team-focused approach.
  • Oversee and contribute to projects with a primary emphasis on building envelope design and repair for multifamily, commercial, and healthcare buildings.
  • Apply technical expertise to resolve design and construction challenges related to building envelopes, ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and best practices.

Our ideal candidate has extensive experience in reviewing, stamping, and approving architectural drawings, with a focus on building envelope systems. Familiarity with building envelope systems and repair methodologies is essential, and experience in evaluating and implementing envelope solutions will be highly valued.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
