Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying and implementing productivity savings, developing and maintaining manufacturing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and standardize manufacturing processes across all Rockwell Automation manufacturing plants.
  • Provide recommendations and justifications to support the investigation and evaluation of new manufacturing technologies.
  • Implement IT security and business productivity initiatives in the manufacturing plants.
  • Provide design input and execution support for the development and deployment of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and information management systems.
  • Participate in new product and process design reviews for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Continuation Engineering projects.
  • Participate in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) analyses.
  • Support justification for capital requests and identify assembly equipment, tooling, and fixture requirements.
  • Collaborate with others from within and outside of the Operations group to achieve common goals.
  • Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent Production/Manufacturing/Technology degree or education.
  • Engineering experience within a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Experience with Project Management, Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA), Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
