We are currently seeking a Transportation Engineer to contribute to our projects. This role may be based in various locations, as we support a hybrid work model that allows flexibility between office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to a Project Manager, the selected candidate will be involved in various aspects of traffic and highway engineering projects. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading design initiatives in urban settings with space constraints.
  • Conducting field investigations.
  • Assisting in the development of plan sets.
  • Supporting report and permit documentation efforts.
  • Mentoring junior staff in technical competencies.
  • Ensuring project delivery within budget and timelines.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in traffic and highway design; experience with bridges is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MassDOT regulations is advantageous.
  • EIT or PE certification is required; preference for candidates who can obtain PE licensure within 2 years.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, Synchro, Vissim, and/or Microstation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
