Position Overview:
The Branch Operations Manager is accountable for overseeing the daily functions of the office. This role is crucial in driving the growth of the branch by delivering exceptional service to existing clients, fostering relationships, and engaging in marketing initiatives to expand the client portfolio while ensuring the branch's profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Branch Operations Manager, you will:

  • Review claims documentation, policies, and client instructions to ascertain coverage.
  • Conduct thorough investigations by interviewing claimants and witnesses, gathering official reports, and assessing physical damages.
  • Establish and adjust loss reserves as circumstances evolve.
  • Compile comprehensive reports for clients and regulatory bodies in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
  • Negotiate settlements by evaluating insurance carrier liability and client directives, issuing payments, and managing regulatory filings.
  • Oversee claim expenditures and maintain an expected caseload.
  • Advise on litigation when necessary.
  • Present evidence in legal settings, preparing necessary documentation.
  • Uphold the company's reputation and the integrity of insurance products by adhering to applicable regulations and service standards.
  • Enhance professional knowledge through ongoing education.
  • Engage in business development by reaching out to local enterprises to secure new or maintain existing business.
  • Support junior adjusters in their claims management tasks.
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of client expectations.
  • Effectively coordinate with service/product replacement providers.
  • Maintain client service standards and key performance indicators.
  • Comply with Crawford and client requirements.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • Experience as a Loss Adjuster or Internal Claims Adjuster.
  • A comprehensive understanding of insurance terminology and practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in marketing or business development is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of business accounting principles.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, ideally with experience in electronic claims processing.

Educational Requirements:
A background in Loss Adjusting or relevant professional qualifications is preferred, along with a valid driver's license.
