Medical Assistant Educator

We are seeking a highly qualified Medical Assistant Instructor to join our team at Unitek College. As a Medical Assistant Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to our students, ensuring they meet the desired learning outcomes, and providing academic advising and career-related counseling.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of our students, recognizing their abilities, learning styles, and providing accommodations for individual differences.
- Exhibit World Class Service when working with students and colleagues, analyzing outward signs of problems that may inhibit student achievement and taking appropriate action.
- Refer students to campus directors or student services to overcome traits that may be hindering their progress.
- Identify and refer students who are at risk of leaving the course to student services.
- Provide ongoing student advisement and academic counseling, using a variety of evaluation methods to support student abilities.
- Participate in academic committees to enrich programs and student life on campus, supporting company initiatives and adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Work effectively with campus departmental staff, complying with all state, department of education, and accreditation regulations.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma; advanced education or college degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred, with Certified Medical Assistant (RMA, CMA, NRCMA) certification preferred.
- Three demonstrable years of hands-on clinical experience in the medical assistant role, with current knowledge of medical assistant practice.
- Ability to mentor a highly diverse student population, work independently, and proficient in Microsoft Office software and learning management systems.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal oral presentation abilities.
