About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Lead Fitness Consultant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our membership team to deliver exceptional service to our members and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Assemble and manage a high-performing membership team that aligns with our company initiatives and culture.
  • Business Development: Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
  • Club Operations: Enforce all club rules, policies, and promote proper execution of all procedures.
  • Talent Acquisition: Keep the club fully staffed through review of applications, interviewing, and making hiring recommendations to the general manager.
  • Sales and Revenue: Manage membership sales generation for their facility.
  • Performance Management: Develop and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics, including employee retention and satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Train staff to generate leads/new business through member promotions, leads, referrals, and guest passes.
  • Employee Engagement: Manage employee's performance by coaching, and creating a healthy, positive working environment.
  • Communication: Conduct weekly meetings with direct reports to review performance and offer direction, inspiration, and guidance toward achieving individual and club goals.

  • Education: College degree preferred.
  • Certifications: Current CPR Certification is required.

This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional demeanor, clear communication, and appearance in a clean uniform are also required.
