About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer I to join our team at Terra Technologies, a Congruex company. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in planning and coordinating detailed aspects of our engineering work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project managers and directors in new project setup by providing expert technical guidance and ensuring timely completion.
  • Review field notes to ensure accuracy and completeness, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Redline designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Utilize CAD base files to create permit plans and submittals that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Conduct quality control checks on permit plans and design work completed by others to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Prepare material reports, quantity take-offs, and construction contracts that meet or exceed customer requirements.
  • Support project managers and directors in project permitting by providing expert technical guidance and ensuring timely completion.
  • Update tracking systems to ensure project and program status is maintained with complete accuracy, including third-party management systems.
  • Create and distribute correspondence relevant to the team or project, ensuring clear and concise communication.
  • Communicate all issues to management prior to reaching critical status, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate and complete files for projects, monitoring for integrity and completeness.
  • Provide additional administrative support as required, ensuring seamless workflow and productivity.

Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent education; Associate or bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics preferred.
  • 1-3+ years' experience in either engineering, construction, architecture, or telecommunications industries.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with peers, leadership, and clients.
  • Self-motivated with superior time management, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking skills, with the ability to make assessments and provide solutions to problems.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
