School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our dynamic team in Apple Valley, CA. This role is well-suited for an individual who is dedicated, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a positive impact in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with licensed Speech Language Pathologists to conduct screenings and assessments to identify communication disorders.
- Implement therapy activities and interventions under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
- Support students, either individually or in small groups, to enhance speech, language, voice, and fluency skills.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans in coordination with the supervising SLP.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with the supervising SLP, teachers, parents, and other team members.
- Contribute to the preparation and organization of therapy materials and resources.

Qualifications and Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Completion of a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) program.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow guidance from licensed professionals.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is between $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have access to comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
