Clinical Neurology Assistant Professor

The University of Miami Health System is presenting a remarkable opportunity for a full-time Assistant Professor in Clinical Neurology within the Pediatric Neurology Division.
- The chosen candidate will deliver comprehensive care for both inpatient and outpatient services at affiliated hospitals and clinics.
- The primary focus will be on assessing and managing conditions such as developmental delays, learning disorders, seizures, childhood migraines, movement disorders, and neuromuscular diseases.
- This position will report directly to the Head of the Child Neurology Division and the Neurology Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and mitigate neurological disorders in pediatric patients.
- Conduct follow-up care for children with neurological conditions.
- Engage actively in the Neurology Residency Training Program.
- Provide educational guidance to students, residents, and fellows in various clinical settings.
- Participate in educational events and gatherings for residents and fellows.
- Supervise house staff in the Pediatric Residency Program.
- Prepare and present educational materials.
- Contribute to research projects and initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MD degree from an accredited institution or equivalent.
- Eligibility for a valid medical license in Florida.
- Board certification in Neurology.
- Expertise in EEG interpretation.
