We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor on the clinical educator track for the Cerebrovascular Division, Department of Neurology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strong clinical and research background in Cerebrovascular Diseases
  • Deliver high-quality patient care at UHealth clinics, University of Miami Hospital, and Jackson Memorial Hospital
  • Contribute to research projects, educational, and mentorship activities of the Cerebrovascular Division and the Department of Neurology
  • Care for patients in the Jackson Health System inpatient settings
  • Train and mentor physicians, staff, and other healthcare professionals
  • Prepare and present at teaching conferences
  • Develop a research program in Cerebrovascular Diseases
Requirements:
  • MD degree from a recognized accredited University (or foreign equivalent)
  • Stroke Neurology Fellowship is preferred
  • Board certification in Neurology is strongly recommended
  • Eligible for Florida medical license
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other employees
