Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology to join our Pediatric Neurology Division at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care for inpatient and outpatient services at Jackson Health System and University of Miami Medical Campus and satellite facilities.
  • Evaluate and treat children with developmental delay, academic deficiencies, epilepsy, childhood onset migraine, and other neurological disorders.
  • Participate in the training program of the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital Neurology Residency Training Program.
  • Teach students, residents, and fellows in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Attend resident and fellowship events and conferences.
  • Train house staff from the JMH Pediatric Residency Program.
  • Prepare and present at teaching conferences.
  • Participate in research programs.
Requirements
  • MD degree from a recognized accredited University (or foreign equivalent).
  • Eligible to acquire a valid Florida medical license.
  • Board certified in Neurology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other employees.
  • Good organizational skills.
