Position Summary:
The Events Intern will collaborate with our Events team at Hall of Fame Village, a subsidiary of Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal abilities, a proactive attitude towards various tasks, and a keen interest or background in event management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the event dashboard on SharePoint.
- Contribute to event planning and brainstorming sessions.
- Engage with potential clients for event opportunities.
- Assist in the development and oversight of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
- Comply with and operate under any established health protocols.
- Demonstrate commitment and necessary skills to meet essential business timelines.
- Facilitate effective communication with team members and various departments.
- Adhere to organizational protocols to ensure compliance as part of a publicly traded entity.
- Support event staffing needs for upcoming events.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Capability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
- Proficiency in navigating uneven surfaces, stairs, or construction areas.
- Adeptness in identifying and responding to potential hazards.
- Must possess hearing, vision, and speech capabilities.
- Capacity to sit, stand, squat, and walk for extended periods as required.
- Availability to work in Canton, Ohio.

- Must be a dependable and adaptable team contributor.
- Experience in event management, operations, or hospitality is preferred.
