Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Events Intern will collaborate with our Events team at Hall of Fame Village, a subsidiary of Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal abilities, a proactive attitude towards various tasks, and a keen interest or background in event management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the event dashboard on SharePoint.
  • Contribute to event planning and brainstorming sessions.
  • Engage with potential clients for event opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and oversight of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Comply with and operate under any established health protocols.
  • Demonstrate commitment and necessary skills to meet essential business timelines.
  • Facilitate effective communication with team members and various departments.
  • Adhere to organizational protocols to ensure compliance as part of a publicly traded entity.
  • Support event staffing needs for upcoming events.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work in diverse weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Proficiency in navigating uneven surfaces, stairs, or construction areas.
  • Adeptness in identifying and responding to potential hazards.
  • Must possess hearing, vision, and speech capabilities.
  • Capacity to sit, stand, squat, and walk for extended periods as required.
  • Availability to work in Canton, Ohio.
