Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Project and Division Managers to address any accounts receivable challenges.
  • Engage with insurance adjusters, mortgage firms, and clients concerning overdue payments.
  • Keep precise records of collection efforts and communications.
  • Track and report on collection activities and statuses weekly.
  • Examine and rectify payment discrepancies.
  • Advise on accounts that may require additional actions, including potential legal measures.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Collections Specialist or in a comparable position.
  • Familiarity with billing processes and collection strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with insurance and mortgage companies is preferred.
