Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Risk Management: Develop and implement effective operational risk management strategies to minimize losses from internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risks.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Independently assess risks and drive actions to address the root causes of operational risk losses, challenging both historical and proposed practices.
  • Governance and Oversight: Provide governance and oversight of operational risk policies, technology, and tools, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Management: Analyze performance metrics and scorecards to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve transactional-level escalations and collaborate with internal partners to resolve issues.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with business users, lines of defense, and external partners to understand and deliver customer requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including consent orders and issue closures.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in operational risk management, risk assessment, and mitigation.
  • Skills: Outstanding communication and influencing skills, exceptional relationship management skills, knowledge of operational risk processes, and strong governance management skills.
