Job Summary:

We are seeking an Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Georgia. The successful candidate will provide coverage on a short-stay Adult Inpatient unit with an average length of stay of 7 days and an average patient census of 20 patients.

As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, examine clients to obtain information about their physical and mental health, and assist with developing treatment plans. You will also recommend appropriate therapies and counsel mental health clients, ensuring that quality assurance measures are met and maintained.

Our team includes two psychiatrists, three psychiatric nurse practitioners, a psychologist, social workers, and administrative staff. We offer a competitive compensation package, including a 403B with a 2% match, relocation assistance up to $15,000, paid time off/sick leave, and CME expenses up to $5,000 per year.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments
  • Examine clients to obtain information about their physical and mental health
  • Assist with developing treatment plans
  • Recommend appropriate therapies and counsel mental health clients
  • Ensure quality assurance measures are met and maintained

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Georgia
  • Experience working in an inpatient psychiatric setting
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
