Role Responsibilities:
The Vocational Rehabilitation Program Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring the quality and consistency of training and habilitation programs for individuals with disabilities. This includes:
  • Supervising classroom and vocational activities.
  • Coordinating schedules and events for Habilitation Technicians and Vocational Instructors.
  • Monitoring and documenting vocational training programs.

Key Duties:
As a successful candidate, you will:
  • Formulate training policies and schedules based on individual needs.
  • Develop specialized teaching tools and materials tailored to each individual's abilities.
  • Oversee contract work and negotiate vendor rates.
  • Ensure confidentiality and report any incidents of abuse or neglect.

Coaching and Development:
You will instruct individuals in various aspects of their personalized programs, focusing on:
  • Enhancing sensory and perceptual development.
  • Providing continuous feedback and motivation.
  • Collaborating with clinical staff to support rehabilitation efforts.

Team Management:
In this role, you will:
  • Assist in the evaluation of staff performance.
  • Plan and implement special events.
  • Ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A two-year certificate from a college or technical school, or equivalent experience.
  • A valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance.
  • Proficiency in CPR and other required certifications.
