Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Lift Operator to join our team at the National Winter Activity Center. As a key member of our mountain operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our ski lifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the safe loading and unloading of passengers on the ski lift, maintaining a safe environment for all users.
  • Maintain load and unload ramps and areas around all lift stations, ensuring they are clear of hazardous conditions.
  • Identify and report any unusual problems or hazardous conditions to ensure the safety of our guests.
  • Perform daily pre-operation inspections and post-operation shutdown procedures to ensure the ski lift is in good working condition.
  • Assist with hill setup and teardown daily, ensuring the ski lift is ready for operation.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our participants, ensuring a positive experience.
Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Knowledge of basic mechanical skills
  • Awareness of ski area operations
  • Ability to work effectively at high elevations in extreme cold and other inclement weather conditions.
  • Ability to push, lift or pull heavy objects including snowmobiles under plumes of snowguns.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels. You will be exposed to outside weather conditions, including extreme winter cold and blizzard conditions.
