Job Title: Sonographer Specialty Clinical Supervisor

Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled Sonographer Specialty Clinical Supervisor to join our Imaging Team at Fairfax Hospital.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to lead our team and ensure the highest quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sonography, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of sonographers to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality patient care and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and radiologists to ensure accurate and timely patient care.
  • Provide education and training to sonographers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection process for sonographers.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • 5 years of experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in a hospital/healthcare environment.
  • ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT certification registered.
  • Ability to perform QA/QC testing and interpret results, implement PI plan.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
