Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective unit-based throughput strategies to optimize patient flow and reduce wait times.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Identify and implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care.
  • Develop and manage unit budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility and optimal resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director to develop and implement unit goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting, with 1 year of demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Graduate from an NLN accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's in Nursing required, Master's preferred or in progress within 6-12 months of hire.
  • NJ-RN: Current New Jersey license as a Registered Nurse.
  • BLS & ACLS certification.
  • CNL or AACN Specialty certification preferred.
