Job Description
MCAT Instructor
Become a valued member of Kaplan's expanding network of educational professionals as a part-time, hybrid MCAT Educator. Our instructors benefit from competitive compensation and a flexible schedule while empowering students to achieve their academic goals. We alleviate the burden of lesson planning and preparation by equipping our educators with a comprehensive array of research-backed resources, structured curriculum, and effective strategies for improving scores. This role is ideal for current medical students, those who have excelled on the MCAT, individuals taking a gap year or deferring admission, or anyone passionate about education and positively impacting the lives of others.
As a MCAT Instructor, your responsibilities will include:
- Enjoying a flexible, hybrid, part-time teaching schedule, with most classes scheduled on weekends and/or evenings
- Guiding students both in and out of the classroom, helping them develop critical thinking skills across various scientific disciplines
- Utilizing data to bridge the opportunity gap for underrepresented students
- Collaborating with colleagues remotely while preparing lessons and training from the comfort of your home
- Competitive hourly rates starting at $35-50/hr, depending on qualifications and location
- A flexible schedule that combines in-person teaching with remote preparation work
