Job Title: DC Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The DC Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the success of assigned functions within a complex distribution center environment. This role involves supervising one or more of the following areas: Inbound Operations, Warehouse Operations, Outbound Operations, Transportation Operations, and Office Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage operational excellence in all warehouse areas, ensuring efficient operations of warehouse management systems and related equipment.
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of work methods, procedures, controls, and staffing to achieve accurate and timely movement and processing of product.
  • Lead associates and peers to anticipate and solve problems, plan for upcoming events, and drive continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Coach, train, and develop associates through informal and formal training programs, providing job performance-based feedback.
  • Maintain a union-free work environment by creating an employee-centered workplace that demonstrates care and concern for all associates.
  • Ensure a culture of safety throughout the organization by following Home Depot safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Business, or Supply Chain, proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and previous change management experience.
