The Brooklyn Hospital Center is committed to delivering high-quality patient care services. We are seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead our Stroke Program and contribute to our mission of excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Leadership: Serve as the clinical leader of the interdisciplinary team, managing inpatients presenting with stroke symptoms.
- Patient Care: Provide full scope of patient care services, including diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement programs to enhance stroke care and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Education and Training: Supervise internal medicine residents in neurology, medical students, and non-physician personnel.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
- New York State Department of Health Certificate of Qualification
- New York State Licensed Physician
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology, Neurosurgery, Interventional Neuro-Radiology, Vascular Neurology, or Neuro-Critical Care
