Lead Retail Operations Manager

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced retail operations manager to lead our daily sales floor operations at a Goodwill store location in Arizona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving customer service, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute a retail operations plan to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for operating income, revenue, and production.
- Monitor product levels (floor work, as-is, recycle, trash, seasonal back stock) daily to achieve bottom line sales budget against targets.
- Ensure payroll costs and operating costs are managed to budget.
- Deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers by training and coaching staff members.
- Work to de-escalate customer situations while finding an appropriate solution.
- Maintain a clean, well-kept, and organized store environment that reflects the Goodwill brand.
- Promote the Goodwill mission through community partnerships and events.
- Serve as a Goodwill ambassador to the community.
- Manage day-to-day sales floor operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure that retail associates and customer service managers are well-trained and meet their duties and responsibilities.
- Act as a key holder, closing shift manager, and backup to the store manager.
- Process complex sales transactions, including customer returns.
- Evaluate team performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- A high school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
- One year of experience in retail management is necessary.
- Customer service experience is also required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
- The ability to pass a background check and drug screen is mandatory.
- Fluency in English is required.
