Airtower Networks is a leading provider of in-building wireless solutions. As an In-Building Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge DAS systems to ensure seamless wireless coverage in various settings.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced RF Engineer with 3-5 years of in-building experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of carrier and public safety projects, as well as proficiency in performing site surveys, creating BOMs, and optimizing designs using iBwave.

Responsibilities
  • Perform site surveys and site walks to gather data on existing infrastructure
  • Create Bill of Materials (BOMs) for DAS equipment and accessories
  • Work with design engineers to create and revise designs to meet customer needs
  • Conduct Quality Control checks on drawings and installations
  • Collaborate with field technicians to commission, integrate, and test DAS equipment and signal strength
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in in-building wireless engineering
  • Proficiency in multiple OEMs, including JMA and ADRF
  • Knowledge of sweep testing, PIM, OTDR testing, and Quality Control checks
  • Strong communication skills to work with design engineers, project managers, customers, landlords, and construction crews
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, with some projects requiring longer trips
