The Logistics Coordinator I is responsible for various operational tasks related to shipping and receiving, which may involve utilizing technology for the preparation of materials, supplies, and equipment for distribution. This role may also encompass inventory management and material handling duties to ensure that all stock is accurately maintained and delivered to designated areas promptly.

  • Receive and accurately store materials within the warehouse.
  • Prepare customer orders for shipment in accordance with established processes.
  • Label and meter packages using various freight systems.
  • Package orders by selecting items from inventory and ensuring they are packed according to specifications or best shipping practices.
  • Utilize the SAP system for order processing.
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace within the warehouse.
  • Prepare daily for upcoming distribution activities.
  • Support divisional initiatives as directed by management, adhering to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Health Systems (EHS), and other regulatory standards.
  • Perform tasks within a quality system environment, understanding that inadequate performance may lead to noncompliance with regulations.
Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic computer proficiency is essential
  • Familiarity with current ERP systems is a plus
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team as well as work independently
  • Consistent and reliable attendance
