Job Title: Senior Radiant Coordinator

Mass General Brigham Digital is seeking a highly skilled Senior Radiant Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Epic Radiant team, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the Radiant module to support the radiology department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure, test, and support the Radiant module to address the specific needs of the radiology department.
  • Oversee software upgrades, patches, and enhancements in collaboration with our Medical Imaging Platform team (MI2) to ensure seamless integration and project deliverables.
  • Lead and manage projects related to the deployment and optimization of Radiant, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and objectives.
  • Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for system administrators (MI2), radiologists, technologists, and administrative staff.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training sessions and materials.
  • Ensure effective integration of Radiant with other Epic modules and third-party applications.
  • Focus on optimizing workflows to boost operational efficiency and enhance patient care within radiology.
  • Ensure Radiant functionalities meet healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, DICOM).
  • Participate in rigorous testing scenarios to validate application performance and compliance.
  • Serve as the primary contact with Epic Systems, managing communications regarding needs, issues, and updates related to the Radiant module.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5+ years of healthcare information technology experience and Radiant experience.
  • A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements.
  • Epic Radiant Application Certification required.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Extensive experience in configuring, implementing, and optimizing Epic Radiant modules.
  • Experience with the development, support or operation of software applications in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of the workflows and operations supported by the software application(s).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Strong project management, user support, and training skills, with a focus on integration and quality assurance.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other popular office productivity solutions.

  • This position requires Hybrid model and local travel to MGB sites, vendors, and/or conferences.
  • On-call coverage expected as business needs dictate.
  • Hospital work environment working conditions include possible exposure to diseases or infections and may require safety gear (PPE) such as gloves and mask.
  • Normal office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk; or hear; use hands to finger; handle; or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop; kneel; or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
