Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in the development and management of quality system procedures, ensuring compliance with ISO-9000 standards.
  • Act as a certified Auditor to facilitate both internal and external quality audits.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to guarantee the delivery of defect-free products.
  • Conduct causal analysis of nonconformities and devise corrective actions to mitigate future occurrences.
  • Support the resolution of quality-related issues and discrepancies.
  • Perform regular assessments and reviews to maintain compliance with quality systems.
  • Assist in creating and implementing inspection plans and enhancements to the quality system.
  • Support inspection personnel and develop effective inspection techniques.
  • Maintain comprehensive quality assurance records.
  • Analyze quality data to drive product improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee supplier quality activities and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Participate in and lead continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
  • At least two years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Fundamental knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials is essential.
  • Hands-on experience in industrial equipment manufacturing is preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and excellent communication skills are necessary.
  • Experience in nuclear reactor manufacturing is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen without dual citizenship.
