Behavioral Health Program Manager

As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a small group or program, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality services to our patients. Your expertise will be instrumental in program design, implementation, and evaluation, as well as staff supervision and development.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement budget recommendations to ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to make informed staffing decisions, providing input on performance evaluations and coaching staff to achieve excellence.
- Lead the design and implementation of programs such as IOP, Adolescent, and Crisis Team, ensuring alignment with unit goals and objectives.
- Monitor access indicators and oversee utilization management to optimize patient outcomes.
- Kaiser Permanente regularly reviews and updates job descriptions to ensure alignment with evolving business needs. Employees may be subject to changes in job duties, compensation, or work status.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of post-licensure experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient setting under licensed supervision.
Education:
- Masters degree in applied behavioral science required.
License, Certification, Registration:
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) required.
- National Provider Identifier required at hire.
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of state regulations regarding ethics, treatment, patient rights, and confidentiality.
- For Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors, completion of couples and families requirement within two years of hire.
- Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
