Position: CT Scan Technologist
Employment Type: Per Diem
Compensation: $50.00 per hour
This per diem role involves working within the CT scan department, with shifts available for various 8-hour periods including 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM on any day of the week. While call hours may be offered, they are not mandatory.
Position Summary:
The CT Scan Technologist is responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient satisfaction through the application of advanced technical skills in computed tomography.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
- Current CT State license.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Working Conditions:
Essential duties require:
- Significant manual dexterity and motor coordination.
- Exposure to occupational hazards.
- Ability to exert very heavy effort, potentially lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Some exposure to environmental factors such as dirt, odors, noise, and human waste.
