Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include...

  • Integrating industrial control panels, as well as electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic components for automated water treatment systems and pump controls.
  • Wiring electrical panels and devices utilizing small hand tools and measurement instruments.
  • Conducting point-to-point quality assurance and quality control for panels.
  • Interpreting and comprehending assembly schematics.
  • Continuously enhancing technical knowledge of Chart's water processing systems.
  • Performing panel integration and wiring for systems on the production floor.
  • Wiring components, panels, and assemblies, including PLCs, motors, drives, and power supplies.
  • Assisting with the installation of equipment.
  • Undertaking additional tasks as assigned.

Your Educational Background Should Include...

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Technical schooling is advantageous.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Involve...

  • Frequent use of hands for handling objects, tools, or controls, along with climbing or balancing.
  • Occasional walking, reaching with hands and arms, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; hearing and speaking.
  • Regularly lifting and moving up to 10 pounds, frequently lifting and moving up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision capabilities required for this position include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Your Professional Experience Should Encompass...

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the assembly of electrical and mechanical components and systems.
  • Proven experience in reading schematics and understanding assembly drawings.
  • Some familiarity or experience with troubleshooting control systems is a plus.
  • A collaborative team-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime, including weekends, as required.
