Job Summary

As a key member of the Compass Group Careers team, we are seeking an experienced Environmental Services Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the operational needs of the department, coordinating tasks, and serving as a liaison between administration and unit departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain high standards for staff performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Plan and coordinate work schedules and areas of responsibility to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Recruit, train, and develop supervisory and housekeeping staff to meet the needs of the department.
  • Conduct regular inspections and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare and present monthly reports on goals, accomplishments, and future plans.
  • Provide ongoing education and training to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, administration, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Coordinate external services, such as pest control, window cleaning, and medical waste disposal.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a support services-related field with high customer/client contact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership skills, initiative, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products.
