Senior Environmental Geologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Geologist to join our team at Enercon Services, Inc. in Oklahoma City, OK. This role will involve performing environmental fieldwork, conducting Phase II investigations, and managing projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform environmental fieldwork, including soil and groundwater investigations, and manage project teams.
  • Conduct and/or manage Phase II investigations, developing scopes of work, cost estimates, and managing subcontractors.
  • Communicate with clients, regulators, and other third-party groups, and provide technical reports in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality related to property and client-sensitive information.
Requirements:
  • Oklahoma Corporation Commission Licensed Remediation Consultant.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Geology or Environmental Science and minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental consulting.
  • General subject matter expert on Oklahoma Corporation Commission Petroleum Storage Tank Division and Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality programs.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks concurrently with varying scopes of work and time constraints.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills including knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, scientific evaluation skills, and understanding of field and laboratory analytical analysis and results.
  • Must be able to travel, including overnight and multi-day stays, throughout Oklahoma, as necessary.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time; work on unpaved surfaces, in outdoor environments, and in extreme weather conditions, including for multi-day field assignments.
  • Must be able to work productively with other staff, at all levels, in a team environment.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification is preferred.
  • Professional Geoscientist (P.G.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) license desired.
