Responsibilities- Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's physical, emotional, and educational needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, identify potential risks and complications, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care and promote a positive patient experience.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- One (1) year of nursing experience, preferably in a surgical setting.
