Job Summary

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) is responsible for providing general non-certified routine services in accordance with established procedures and may be directed by supervisors. This position is a Monday-Friday 6a-10a on our Memory Care unit only.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assists with housekeeping and laundry services, including trash removal and making and changing unoccupied beds.
  • Assists with all aspects of meal service, including transportation of residents to and from the dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring a great dining experience.
  • Answers resident call lights promptly and ensures that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.
  • Assists with 1:1 observations as assigned and maintains communication with the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse to report any resident changes in condition, concerns, and grievances.
  • Provides great customer service, companionship, communication, and engagement in activities.
  • Assists clinical staff to make residents comfortable and assists with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School / GED
  • Experience: 0-1 years
  • Licenses and Certifications: None Required
