FPGA Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled FPGA Engineer to join our team of innovators at Actalent, a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
As an FPGA Engineer, you will work with our blended team of scientists and engineers to create cutting-edge solutions to tomorrow's problems. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing FPGA logic, as well as supporting hardware and software development teams in bring-up and test of products.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the hardware design team on requirements and parts selection.
- Design, code, and test FPGA logic using VHDL and/or Verilog.
- Support hardware and software development teams in bring-up and test of products.
- Provide subject-matter expertise regarding design and automated test development procedures to customers and production support team.
- Perform research and analysis of data to determine design approach and/or feasibility.
- Execute debugging and stressing of the design in the lab.
- Perform synthesis, implementation, and timing analysis.
- 8+ years of experience on hardware development projects.
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or other equivalent leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with an engineering/math focus or other equivalent field of discipline.
- Expertise in FPGA development working with VHDL and/or Verilog.
- Familiar with Xilinx product line.
- Knowledge of hardware interfaces, timing diagrams, and communications protocols.
