Position Overview
We are seeking a meticulous Customer Service Representative to become a part of our organization. In this position, you will manage patient information concerning durable medical equipment and respiratory supplies. Your responsibilities will include interacting with patients, colleagues, and referral sources.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in updating the respiratory inventory
- Engage with patients, clients, and referral contacts
- Complete essential documentation
- Ensure adherence to company policies
- Organize patient information and related paperwork
- Monitor and manage office supplies
- Provide technical support to customers
- Verify insurance eligibility
- Address customer inquiries and concerns
- Carry out additional assigned tasks
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in the medical equipment field is advantageous
- Familiarity with medical billing practices is preferred
- Relevant work experience is beneficial
- Excellent communication abilities
- Capability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Adept at navigating the internet and utilizing email
- Knowledgeable in operating office equipment
- Ability to lift and transport office equipment
- Involves sitting, walking, and standing
