Job Overview

The Strategic Project Coordinator will deliver expert guidance and operational insight in strategic planning and collaboration, assisting leadership and team members in project management and performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, oversee, and sustain the Client's Strategic Planning and Partnering Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) utilizing MS Project.
  • Manage the Client's Strategic Initiatives Project Portfolio and facilitate team meetings focused on Strategic Planning Goals.
  • Act as the primary advisor to the Client on all matters related to planning and operations, emphasizing the advantages of the IMS.
  • Conduct regular meetings with essential personnel to ensure the IMS is current and to propose enhancements for organizational improvement.
  • Deliver monthly strategic activity and performance reports regarding the IMS to the Client's Senior Leadership.
  • Maintain and enhance performance measurement activities using Tableau Creator software, providing an overview of project statuses.
  • Coordinate and finalize strategic initiative activities, including monitoring and updating product statuses while managing the IMS with MS Project.
  • Offer comprehensive consultation and advice to staff and Senior Leadership on workflow and process enhancements, leveraging SharePoint and Tableau Creator software integration.
  • Supervise Data Analyst(s) in the development of metrics and performance measures using Tableau Creator software.
  • Provide additional consultation to key personnel as necessary, including but not limited to presentation development and performance measurement trend analysis.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Over 10 years of experience or a Master's Degree.
  • Exceptional communication abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate across various functional areas and levels of expertise.
  • Proficiency in identifying and mitigating risks.

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Project.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint.
  • Experience with Tableau Creator software.
