Plasma Center Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Plasma Center Technician to join our team. As a Plasma Center Technician, you will be responsible for screening new and repeat donors, taking and recording donor vital signs and finger stick results, and using our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records.
You will also be responsible for coordinating donor compensation, identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement, and initiating changes to center processes using company-approved procedures.
As a Plasma Center Technician, you will be the face of our organization, providing exceptional customer service to our donors and ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
We are looking for a team player who is able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about providing exceptional service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
What You Bring to Takeda:• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
• Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear
• 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful

USA - UT - OremU.S. Starting Hourly Wage:
$16.00The starting hourly wage reflects the actual starting rate for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
