Job Summary

The General Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, financial data analysis, and cash handling. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Facilitate accounts payable, including invoice processing and resolving discrepancies.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and other general ledger accounts.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to identify variances, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and financial projections.
  • Support external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable duties.
