About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser to join our team at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. As a Busser, you will play a critical role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and set tables to restaurant standards, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
  • Deposit dishes appropriately in the dish-room or specified area, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Pull dirty plates from tables while guests are still seated, providing excellent service and minimizing wait times.
  • Serve beverages promptly, ensuring our guests receive their drinks in a timely manner.
  • Stock bussing stations, maintaining a well-stocked and efficient workspace.
  • Clean stations, including sweeping the floor using the tools provided, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Perform buffet set-up and refill if needed, ensuring our guests have access to a wide range of options.
  • Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks when necessary, such as expediting food to tables, demonstrating a team-oriented approach.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a similar or supportive role is preferred.
  • Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
  • Knowledge or ability to learn the restaurant point-of-sale system, ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Hardworking, dedicated, with a real passion for hospitality.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
