Job Overview

The Water Grill San Diego is seeking a highly skilled Back of House Supervisor to join our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily receiving, storage, and preparation of all food products, ensuring that all food products meet company recipe specifications for preparation and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily receiving, storage, and preparation of all food products
  • Record all waste (food product) on tracking sheet
  • Nightly protein count
  • Assist in counting weekly inventory
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Cooking when needed to support the flow of the business
  • Complete opening and/or closing duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • High school graduate, some college
  • Any previous supervisor experience
  • 2 years' experience in a kitchen/cook role
  • Ability to communicate in a satisfactory manner, both verbal and written English
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
