Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at the South East Alaska Regional Health Consortium. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families during the most critical moments of their lives.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and perform procedures as ordered by the physician.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on various aspects of care, including pain management, breathing techniques, and postpartum care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in maternal and child health.
- Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or other U.S. state.
- One year's clinical nurse experience preferred.
- Knowledge of nursing care principles, practices, diagnosis, and processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
