Job Title: Clinical Nurse Practitioner - Addiction Services

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients with addiction issues. The successful candidate will work closely with our healthcare team to provide comprehensive care, education, and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical services, including assessments, treatment planning, and medication management to patients with addiction issues.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, clinic staff, and management to ensure excellent quality of care and services.
  • Lead and direct the clinic staff to ensure efficient operation of all aspects of the clinic.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, completing all necessary documentation in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Active, unrestricted RN licensure in Alaska.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • 1 year acute care experience preferred.
  • 6 months addiction services experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Nursing process and the ability to apply this in the working environment.
  • Customer service principles.
  • Safety and infection control principles.

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and work independently. The successful candidate will be a team player, willing to teach and learn, and able to problem-solve and use critical thinking skills to develop and maintain good working relations with other staff and departments.

Shifts:

M-F 6:00am-4:00pm and M-F 8:00am-5:00pm (mix)
