Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager (BA / PM) to join our Corporate & Operations Applications team. This role involves providing both process and technical business analysis expertise while leading small to mid-sized projects for our Legal and HR departments.
In this position, you will engage extensively with functional business users and the Inspire Information Services (IS) team.
Main Duties / Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business teams and senior leadership to gather and define business requirements, information models, workflows, test cases, and business cases for Legal and HR solutions.
- Review functional design documents, user stories, and other artifacts to ensure they align with business needs.
- Provide functional and process expertise for ongoing Legal and HR projects, assessing best practices and process alignment.
- Manage small to medium-sized Legal and HR projects from initiation to completion, including solution selection, assessment, planning, execution, deployment, hypercare, risk management, and stakeholder communication, among other SDLC activities.
- Ensure timely delivery of quality solutions within budget constraints.
- Act as a point of contact and escalation for teams, promoting constructive collaboration.
- Stay informed on the latest features, updates, and best practices, recommending improvements or enhancements.
- Develop and maintain process documentation for the team.
- Onboard, train, and support Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Facilitate team retrospectives aimed at fostering growth in processes and culture.
- Work towards developing and standardizing solutions to enhance productivity, profitability, and business processes through technology.
- Ensure appropriate quality documentation is created as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable role.
- Experience with 2+ contract lifecycle system implementations.
- Proficient in authoring quality validation/verification deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a regulated medical device environment.
- Familiarity with HR systems.
- Project management experience.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills with the capability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with precision and accuracy.
- Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced, and results-oriented work environment.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing environments, learning quickly and teaching others.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) and Azure DevOps.
- Strong process mapping, systemic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
