Job Title: Associate Director of Housing Services

Catholic Charities Family and Community Services is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Associate Director of Housing Services to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of all services provided by the Housing Services Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative oversight and direction to identified program services.
  • Supervise program staff within identified service areas and case management team.
  • Set goals, review, and document performance, and lead staff in accordance with CCFCS's mission, vision, and values.
  • Manage the process for updating and maintaining program policies and procedures.
  • Participate in program evaluation and ongoing monitoring of program activities.
  • Ensure compliance with funders and governmental bodies.
  • Oversee compliance with city code and other health standards at all facilities.
  • Monitor programs' compliance with fire and emergency evacuation procedures.
  • Review current standards for HUD and oversee compliance for these standards.
  • Review current standards for OTDA and oversee compliance for these standards.
  • Assist with the reviews and investigates all allegations of abuse/neglect and other incidents as requested by the Director and/or CPO.
  • Participate in relevant Agency meetings and ongoing development of professional knowledge and skills.
  • Attend program and departmental meetings.
  • Maintain and develop professional knowledge and skills through involvement in Agency in-service training, workshops, reading, and conferences.
  • Participate in relevant Agency meetings and/or trainings.
  • Actively pursue development of professional competencies related to job role performance through reading, supervision, in-service training, and attendance at conferences and workshops.
  • Awareness and active support of the Agency's Mission, Vision, Values, and Strategic Plan.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field.
  • At least 5 years of residential program experience, 2 of which must be supervisory.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments, plan, and complete work projects with minimal direction.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal/written skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to demonstrate behaviors and attitudes which support agency mission, philosophy, and policies.
  • Willingness and ability to foster agency and program-wide cooperation and teamwork through use of positive/constructive communication techniques.
  • Possession of a valid NYS Driver's license and use of a registered and reliable vehicle.
