Position Overview:
The Aircraft Technician II role at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation involves performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems and structures with minimal supervision.

Key Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate with 2 years of aviation maintenance experience, or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience including 2 years on mid/large size aircraft.
- Valid Driver's License is mandatory.

Core Responsibilities:
1. Conduct complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications independently.
2. Collaborate with the Maintenance Team Lead, Shift Team Manager, and Inspection Department to ensure adherence to internal and FAA inspection and documentation standards.
3. Accurately complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and related paperwork in a timely manner.
4. Assist with shift transitions as necessary.
5. Ensure all completed work meets quality standards and specifications.
6. Properly tag and secure customer property and equipment.
7. Safely store aircraft components and customer property.
8. Follow standard operating procedures for ground support equipment operation.
9. Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.
10. Provide mentorship to less experienced technicians.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Collect and dispose of waste materials such as fuel, oil, and hydraulic fluids responsibly.
- Implement Lean initiatives to maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
- Utilize company-provided tools and equipment responsibly, returning them to designated storage after use.
- Adhere to safety protocols and utilize protective equipment as required.
- Utilize the material tracking system for parts demand and labor charge tracking.
- May participate in flight tests to support aircraft certification and final phase testing.

Other Requirements:
- Familiarity with FAA regulations, process specifications, and company policies is essential.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language is required.
