  • Ensures compliance with all regulations regarding the secure handling of Protected Health Information (PHI).
Qualifications

Education

  • Diploma in Nursing from an accredited program required, or
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required, or
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, or
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Comprehensive understanding of nursing processes and practices.
  • Proficient in using various technical equipment to meet patient needs and deliver prescribed therapies.
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required, with a preference for experience in corrections, emergency services, or medical-surgical nursing. This position requires night shifts.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio required, and
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or to be obtained during nursing orientation.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support may be required based on clinical area standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing and walking.
  • Occasional sitting.
  • Regular lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent pushing and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional climbing and balancing.
  • Frequent stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Constantly engaging in talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
  • Consistent eye/hand/foot coordination.
