Job Summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at our Alma Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing education to patients and families
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence

Requirements

  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
  • Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
