Job Summary

As a key member of the Compass Group USA team, the Maintenance Safety Specialist will oversee all fire safety documents under the direction of the Unit Director/Fire Safety Assistant Director.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire and life safety policies and procedures, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities will include reviewing ILSM assessments and documenting preparation, participating in event walk-throughs to ensure life safety compliance, and maintaining all documentation of fire safety programs.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for performing necessary audits to ensure full compliance with joint commission standards and all governing agencies.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a related field or a minimum of two years of experience in the field, as well as excellent customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
